Circulatory system of Herdmania

The circulatory system of Herdmania is well develoved and consist of heart and pericordium, blood vessels and blood.

Heart and pericordium

In animal the pericordium is elongated transparent tube like, non-contractile and about 7cm in long and 3mm wide present just below the right gonads in both end it is closed and filled with couples. The wall is thick and contains blood sinus. The heart is inclosed with in pericordium and attached to it's wall it is cylendrical contractile and thin wall both end of heart are open. There are no wallve but pear shaped body present which regulate the flow of blood in the heart.

Blood vessels 

There are following blood vessel present in the body of Herdmania as ventral aorta. It is largest vessels of the body and arise from ventral end of heart from it's origin first gives out a ventral test vessel which supply the blood in test and then bifurcate into anterior and posterior hypo branchial brain which run into endostyle. The anterior branch farm vessel at the base of branchial siphon and posterior branch sends vessels to oesophageal area.

Dorsal aorta 

It present just above the dorsal lamina. It is not connected with heart but communicate with ventral vessel from it's middle portion a neural vessel arise and  from anterior end dorsal tuburicle and siphonal vessels into branchial siphon.

Branchio Visceral Vessel 

It is very small or short vessels. It divide into two branches. The right oesophageal vessel and left ventro intestinal vessel is long supply the blood into left side of oesophagus stomach intestine rectum left gonad and left liver lobe.

Cardio Visceral Vessel

The vessel arise from dorsal end of heart which supply the blood to several organs. Some vessels as reight hepatic vessel oesophagus test vessel, left gonadeal vessel and gastric vessel which supply the blood in excreated organ.

Blood

The blood is transparent and reddish it contains few colourless lucocyte, 6 or 7 types of coloured carpuscles. The pigment in carpucles may be orange or yellowish green but never red in most animal different matte vandium found which stored green blood carpucles called vandocytes. The observing power of oxygen is very low.

Foods of Circulation

In heart of Herdmania the wave absent so the regulation of blood maintain by peristatic waves and flow of blood into all parts of the body when the heart beats it's originated blood collected through ventral aorta from branchial sac and test. It is pumped into cardio Visceral Vessel and distributed to various part of the body. The deoxygenated blood is collected by branchio-visceral vessel and pumped into ventral aorta and distributed into peripharyngeal and subtentacular and test vessels.
